The full meaning of the mantra: The one who is pure like camphor, whose personality is the embodiment of compassion. In the same way Lord Shiva always (always) lives (spring) in the heart of creatures, so that no one is affected by world affairs.īhavānīsahitaṁ namāmi - in the form of Goddess Bhavani, I bow Parvati and Shiva. Lotus, however, is born in dirty water, even the mud around it has no effect on it. Sadāvasantaṁ hṛdayāravinde - Hridaya aravinde means 'in heart' (pure in form of lotus).
Sansārsāram - that which is the essence of the whole creation.īhujagendrahāram - The one with the serpent king as his garland.
Karuṇāvatāraṁ - The person whose personality is the embodiment of compassion and who is the incarnation of compassion. Karpūragauraṁ - Lord Shiva who is pure as camphor. Sadāvasantaṁ hṛdayāravinde bhavaṁ bhavānīsahitaṁ namāmi || Karpūragauraṁ karuṇāvatāraṁ sansārsāram bhujagendrahāram | Shiva dwells in our mind, fear of death can be overcome. Shiva is a cremation dweller, who relieves the fear of death. This praise is sung for this reason that whoever is the ruler of this entire world, dwells in our hearts. Shiva is believed to be the supreme ruler of creation, he is the god of death, he is also called Pashupatinath, Pashupati means that whatever the creatures of the world (including humans) are the rulers of them all. But this praise tells that their nature is very divine.
